Baby is more awake and watches his environment with interest. He starts to hold small objects in his hands, first it’s a reflex but it will soon start to be intentional. He brings them to his mouth to explore them, follow them with his eyes.
It’s the perfect time to give him some rattles (diversify textures, colors, sounds, and be aware of the weight, they shouldn’t be too heavy), a small play arch (don’t use it all the time and try not to overload it to avoid too much stimulations) or a sober play mat.
You can also gift some books like fabric books, picture books, sound and musical books, books with different textures to touch…
